Athletic Training Educational Seminars
This year, we will again offer seminars in Athletic Training at selected cities across the nation. Sites are posted on the ATEO page of www.rodwalters.com. As an Athletic Trainer directing health care on the collegiate level from 1980 until 2007, I know how important protocols and general procedures are to our work. Based on the need, I developed an annual seminar to address the topics. The sessions incorporate topics which warrant discussion and attention by Athletic Training staffs annually. Further, by obtaining corporate support, I will be offering this education at no cost to the participants and include seven CEU units – all at no cost to participants!
The seminars are a one-day format and the program schedule is available online.
About the seminars
You are invited to an Athletic Training seminar featuring a review of issues facing Athletic Trainers. As an Athletic Trainer directing health care on the collegiate level for twenty-eight years, I know how important it is to review protocols and processes annually. I developed this seminar series based on NATA Position Statements and best-case practices from leaders in the Athletic Training and Sports Medicine profession. None of the lectures will be about specific products - just best practices and good academic content about what you do as Athletic Trainers dealing with athletic injuries. Pass this information along to your peers. Attendees receive seven BOC CEU units.
